Day 121 and 122 - More Rain, More Ply and finally Waterproof Felt

Need I say more?

Day 116 - Applying the Ply

I'm so far behind on posts again, so it's picture time again, until I can find a way out of the 'cupboard' to write.

Meanwhile, over on the South side, Captain Seth and his team worked on the roof timbers.

Day 114 - Concrete, belt and braces

BarnGirl has a flat surface in the North Elevation at last.  I was able to step onto the concrete and take pics from each corner of the space.

While the concrete was 'curing' in the north elevation, the BarnBoys decided to play around on the monkey bars in the South! Boss Jon and Mat the Hat, fitted steel plates either side of the roof truss. This will replace the need for the lower angled truss, the boys' feet are resting on.

Amazingly, we enjoyed a rare glimpse blue sky. Alas, not for long.  As soon as Captain Seth, Papa Bill and Mark have finished the rafters on the South Elevation, Boss Jon can give the nod to Seamus to start unravelling the Tyvek, giving the barn and BarnBoys a break from the relentless rain.
