Day 143 - 145. February 19 - 21st. An Exciting, Sunny Day for laying Solar Slate Tiles

'Tis a busy and exciting day.....the laying of BarnGirl's 540 solar slate tiles. They will hopefully power most of the electrics in the barn, with a peak yield of 3,510 kWh. I'll write more about this later, once I've caught up again.

The extended team of BarnBoys worked very hard to wire-up all the solar slate tiles in a day. It was a day without lunch for them....just a few afternoon choc chip cookies. Can't wait for m'roof to start earning me money, by selling surplus energy to the national grid!

Day 141. February 17th. Rooms start to take shape

The deluge continues and so do the BarnBoys, despite relentless rain. There has been no let up causing havoc across the UK. At least the BarnBoys can finally take refuge and work inside, creating some rooms.
