Day 173 - 181. March 21st - 29th - Seth Returns to Add Beautiful Oak Cladding

BarnGirl and a new look Inspector Walt wandered up to the barn looking forward to inspecting today's activity - the fitting of some of the oak window frames and the return of Captain Seth, to make a start on the oak feathered-weather boarding.

Inspector Walt sashayed on site, in his light weight Summer capsule collection, hoping for a thumbs up from the BarnBoys and Pup Brody.

BarnGirl was required to confirm 'window furniture', a trumped up term for the metal thingy which opens and closes the windows.  I believe the proper name is cockspur and risers, but that just sounds rude!

North Elevation

West Elev

As if by magic, the scaffolding is removed.......

So pleased with the oak cladding going up on the West elev. Looks great with the oak window frames. BarnGirl won't be painting the barn with any dodgy black paint. It'll be left to mature naturally to a silvery grey.

What a fine job, BarnBoys.
On to the next
Love
BarnGirl
